Attended SIUE 4 years and started working for KATZ st louis in 1968 I worked there for 3 years. Worked at KWK,Wesl.I became vp-gm at wesl as well as PD for 13 years.IN 1986 I became vp gm at KATZ am-fm.In 1993 I began work at KXOK and then to Magic 108 st. louis. I was allowed to do the sunday7-12m show which became the higest rated radio show in st louis(36 share)I have done jazz at kzjz st louis.In 2000 I was doing 6a-10am and kzjz won the Peobody for jazz.Between 1968 and 2009, I have had 3 TV shows on TV30 and 0ne on KMOV st.louis.The show on KMOV started in 1988 on the same night as the Orsenio show started-I beat him in the ratings!!
I do have about 40 gold records from the music industry. From Michael Jackson to the Sugarhill Gang and the Bee Gees.Awards;Naacp Legend Award 2008, GM of the year 1984 1986 from the Jack The Rapper annual convention.
I have been at Radio- One St. Louis since 2007 and loving every minute of it.
