
The 12th Annual Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure, is Saturday, June 12 in downtown St. Louis. More than 60,000 people, including 4,500 breast cancer survivors, are expected to turn out for this year’s Race. St. Louis has the largest Race for the Cure event in the world.
Race Day Details
The day’s events start with on-site registration beginning at 6:30 a.m. The Annual Survivor Procession takes place at 7:25 a.m. – where over 4,500 breast cancer survivors proceed from 13th Street to the main stage before a photo is taken and a special celebration is had. The Race, presented by Wells Fargo Advisors, will begin at8:30 a.m. with the wheelchairs. 5K timed runners start at 8:35 a.m. and the 5K untimed runners start at 8:40 a.m. The 5K walkers start at 9 a.m. and the one-mile fun walk starts at 9:15 a.m. This year’s start line is at 14th and Olive.
