UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:
Sometimes people’s faith may be tested by others with demands to do things they could not normally imagine doing. Does faith require doing anything and everything requested? Abraham was unquestioning to his faith and devotion to God, who eventually rescinded His demand to kill Isaac.
CONCLUDING PRAYER:
Lord, we come to You thanking You for our times of testing. We know that Your testing is a part of the way of faith. Your tests are not designed to harm us, but to build us up. We ask that You give us the ability to pass the test so that we are able to continue on our faith journeys. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
